KidStart is an Indo-US project that brings together a unique partnership in the international wheelchair sector. Ohio State and Mobility India join hands with Participant Assistive Products to co-design and launch a postural support wheelchair called Cub for children in India. 

ISO Wheelchair Testing Standards Laboratory

ISO Wheelchair Testing Standards evaluate the stability, durability, dimensional compliance and labeling requirements for wheelchairs. High-quality quality wheelchairs are a must for rough terrains witnessed in less-resourced settings. The Cub wheelchair completed the ISO tests recently.

CREATE Conference 2024

The Ohio State University and Mobility India hosted the CReaTe (Complex Rehabilitation Technology) Conference in Bangalore, India from 18-19 October, 2024. The conference brought together wheelchair users, international and national experts, professionals, manufacturers and stakeholders to raise awareness of complex rehab technologies. In addition to showcasing several complex rehab technologies and developments, CReaTe 2024 featured expert talks on policy, service provision, workforce development and standards related to such technologies. It was the first international event in India on the complex rehabilitation technology topic. Dr. Mhatre served as the CReaTe conference co-chair. Refer link for the website: Mobility India.
